October 18th

A WORD FROM PASTOR

Hurricane Isaias left a mess in Pensacola and turned our schedules upside down. However, we plan to be back on Sunday morning for the regular schedule at Olive. Looking forward to seeing everyone as we meet for the Lord's Supper during worship.

I am not certain what you will find in the parking lot as we have had many guests in town to help with the hurricane relief. Come a little early and show patience. You may need to walk a little farther than normal to get in the building. Please do not let that keep you from attending. Golf carts and buses will be running to help those who need assistance.

Thank you for remembering to bring or send your monetary gifts for the ongoing ministry of our dear church. Persist!!

LORD'S SUPPER

Join us this Sunday, October 18th as we partake in the Lord's Supper together. We look forward to meeting together and celebrating what God has done for us. Invite a friend as we have a great time of community and remembrance.

Thank you so much for joining us at Olive Baptist Church! Our hope and prayer is that you find community within our church body and that we may all grow together. There are many ways to get involved at Olive, and below you can find just a few!

We are coordinating with Florida Baptist Disaster Relief teams who are offering free help with post-hurricane debris and cleanup efforts in the area. If you need help, please complete this form.

The Veterans of Olive Legacy Project honors the military service in the United States Armed Forces represented throughout our church family, including those who have served, those who are currently serving, and loved ones whose legacy of service is remembered by their families. We invite you to share your story, or the story of a loved one, as we preserve and honor this legacy of service for generations to come.

Middle schoolers, Journey Weekend is happening October 23–25, and we can’t wait to spend an unforgettable three days together. Students will gather Friday from 5:00–9:30 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, and Sunday from 9:30 AM–12:00 PM. Meals are provided on both Friday and Saturday.

It's that time of year again! Operation Christmas Child is an incredible opportunity to fill shoeboxes with Christmas gifts and share the gospel. Pickup a box on both campuses beginning Sunday, October 25th (distribution ends on November 11th).

College students and young adults, one of our favorite nights of the year is coming up! Crossroads Fall Fest is Tuesday, October 27 at 6PM out at the ball fields. Grab a friend, and a blanket, and come join us for some fun and then worship.
