We at Faith are privileged to welcome the Muniz family - Joanna, Fabio, and their two daughters, ages 13 and 8 - who will be with us at both services on Sunday, September 13, followed by lunch after the second service.
The Muniz family serves with the Covenant in Lyon, France, where, among other ministries, they have started an open café as a way to build relationships with neighbors and introduce them to Christ. While the family is in the U.S. for the year, the café is being managed by some of their French friends.
Please join us in praying for the Muniz family. Pray for a positive school year for their daughters and that they will find Christian friends. Also pray for stamina and strength for Fabio as he has a very busy schedule visiting and supporting congregations.

We're starting a Faith Kidz Run Club called Soul Strides. The goal is to build faith, character and endurance.
Soul Strides will run throughout the school year in two sessions—fall and spring. Students in 3rd-5th grade will meet at the church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm.
Our plan is to run a race together as a group on November 21 (Location TBD). In the spring, we'll continue training (and hopefully fundraise) for the World Vision Run in May.

Every third Saturday of the month in the afternoon, Jim and Jill Taylor provide dinner and teaching to the men at the New Life Rescue Mission in Downtown Detroit. They are looking for a few other folks to come alongside them to help with this endeavor.
