Parenting can be rewarding and exhausting! Join us for Lunch & Learn, a monthly gathering for parents to enjoy a free lunch, connect with other parents, and explore practical topics like screen time, healthy family habits, building connection, avoiding burnout, and growing your children’s character and faith.
While parents meet, kids will be supervised in the gym, enjoying things like inflatables, crafts, games, and more.
Upcoming Dates: December 6, February 7, March 7, and April 4.
Whether you're looking for fresh ideas, encouragement, or a chance to connect with other parents, we'd love for you to join us for lunch, meaningful conversation, and practical support for your parenting journey!
Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, delivers shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to children in need around the world. For many children, this may be the first gift they’ve ever received! Each shoebox also provides an opportunity for local churches to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We’re asking every family, class, and small group to pack at least one shoebox! Choose a boy or girl and an age range, then fill your box with items such as a stuffed animal, pencils and notebooks, a toothbrush, or a soccer ball with a pump.
Cardboard shoeboxes and tags are available in the lobby at the Faith Kidz check-in. Plastic shoeboxes can also be purchased online or at some craft stores.
Prefer to build a shoebox online? You can choose gifts and create a shoebox online through Samaritan’s Purse! Build a Shoebox Online.
Please return your packed shoeboxes by Sunday, November 15. For more information, visit Operation Christmas Child .
One small box can make a world of difference to a child. Let’s fill as many shoeboxes as we can!
Date: Friday, October 30
Time: 7:30PM - 11:59PM
Young Adults (Ages 18-29), bust out your trench coats and your magnifying glasses and join us for a night of mystery, mischief, and mur....th, yeah, mirth... at Faith Cov.
Young Adults transform the building into the stage of our annual interactive mystery/thriller night. Keep your friends close and your wits closer, because the kill....ometers long list of suspects isn't going to narrow itself down.
Come rocking a costume and a seasonal dish to pass and enjoy October 30th (a date whose proximity to any other national holiday is entirely coincidental) with fun, fellowship, and fear and trembling.
This month, we are highlighting KICY Christian Radio Station in Nome, Alaska, which has been sharing the Gospel for more than 65 years. KICY broadcasts Christian music, Gospel messages, and prayer requests throughout Alaska and into Russia. In some remote Alaskan villages, KICY is the only faith-based communication available to residents who have no local church or pastor.
The station’s General Manager, Patty Burchell, has visited Faith Covenant and is familiar to many of us through the station’s ever-popular salmon dinners and lunches!
Please join us in praying for KICY’s ministry. The station is in need of additional volunteers, as one couple recently returned to the lower 48 states. Pray that God will call others to serve and support this important ministry. Also, pray that the station’s equipment and power systems will remain functional through the next eight months of severe winter weather, when repairs can be especially difficult.
Faith Covenant has a longstanding partnership with KICY, and in the past, our teams have traveled to Nome to assist with building projects and ministry. We are grateful for this partnership and ask God to continue blessing KICY as it shares the hope of Jesus Christ with communities throughout Alaska and Russia.
We will be celebrating Baby Dedications/Baptisms on Sunday 11.1. If you would like to participate in this, contact Pastor Mike at pastormike.rice@4fcc.org
Date: Sunday, November 8
