Every Kid A Camper

Welcome to Every Kid a Camper 2026!

We believe Portage Lake Bible Camp is a place where kids and students experience Jesus in new ways. We never want finances to be a reason kids cannot experience camp. We have designed Every Kid a Camper to help students build community and serve their church family, while at the same time earning money for camp!

Here’s what you do:

“Take 5” of the faith building activities below by MAY 1st and Faith Covenant Church will cover half the cost of camp!

You are participating in EKAC, but need more additional financial assistance, email Pastor Devon or Pastor Laura before May 1st.

EKAC is for members and regularly attending friends of Faith Covenant Church. Members of different churches should contact their church for scholarship funds.

SWIM Team (serving at camp)

  • Camp Cost: $220 = EKAC: $110

Take 5:

1.      Register for Camp

You must be registered by MAY 1st to receive EKAC funds-register sooner for early bird rates. Register for camp here: portagelake.org to secure your spot. You must also register with Pastor Devon or Pastor Laura by May 1st to receive funds.

2.      Go to church

Part of God’s grace is encouraging each other-and that happens in community with one another. Join us Sunday mornings to get connected to God’s people. To be eligible for EKAC, you need to check in with Pastor Devon or Pastor Laura at least 5 times between March 1-May 1.

3.      Serve in your church community.

God asks us to serve one another. To qualify for EKAC, check out the different ways to get involved and sign up to serve:

                Greeters/Ushers/Coffee Hour: Pastor James (pastorjames.bryde@4fcc.org)

                Worship Team/Sound/Media: Cat Davis (cat.davis@4fcc.org)

Student Ministry events: Pastor Devon (pastordevon.perry@4fcc.org)

Faith Kidz: Pastor Laura (pastorlaura.jackson@4fcc.org)

If you serve in community service projects outside of FCC, be sure to let Pastor Devon or Pastor Laura so they can check this off your list.

If you are not sure how you can serve, Pastor Devon or Pastor Laura can help connect you with various serving opportunities. Special reminder, some serving opportunities may require parent/guardian supervision or have age requirements.

IMPORTANT: Please share a picture and short story of your experience serving people.

4.      Invite or pray for a friend.

God’s love is meant to be shared. One of the ways we can do this is through prayer of inviting friends to church or to FCC family fun events. Send us your friend’s name so we can pray for them too.

If your friend is unchurched, invite them to attend camp with you and be a part of EKAC. They will need to do “Take 5” as well. Friends from other churches should ask their church about scholarship options.

5.      Memorize, Share, and Selfie the camp theme verse.

Memorize the summer theme verse and share it with Pastor Mike. BONUS: Take a selfie with Pastor Mike and send it to Pastor Devon or Pastor Laura.
