Want to grow deeper in your faith? Join Pastor James for Deep Discipleship, an in-depth class designed to help participants develop a well-rounded understanding of three key areas of discipleship: the message of the Bible, Christian doctrine, and essential Christian practices.
This class utilizes content created by Jen Wilkin, Kyle Wortley, and J.T. English and is designed to help you gain a fuller understanding of your walk with Jesus and learn what it looks like to invest in your faith for the rest of your life.
Please note: This class includes homework, including weekly reading and a few assignments throughout the year to help participants retain and truly understand the content.

Join us for lunch after 2nd service on September 13, 2026, and hear from Fabio and Johnna Muniz, our mission partners in France!
Come learn about what God has been doing through their ministry, hear about the impact He is making through their work, and discover what the future holds for them.
One of the mission families Faith Covenant supports is Chris and Rebecca Hirt from Thornapple Covenant Church. Along with their three children—Luis (17), Lucas (15), and Emalene (12)—they began serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Thailand in 2010.
In 2023, Chris was diagnosed with two types of lymphoma, which required the family to return to Grand Rapids for healthcare in Grand Rapids and Chicago. Despite this, they continue serving in a remote capacity. Chris partners with global workers to provide software that accelerates language projects and helps advance Bible translation. As a licensed professional counselor, Rebecca walks alongside Christian workers as they navigate the challenges of cross-cultural ministry.
Prayer Requests:
Please pray for Chris’s continued good health and remission in the year ahead. Pray also for God’s wisdom and guidance as the family considers taking on greater responsibility through larger leadership roles within the mission.

We're starting a Faith Kidz Run Club called Soul Strides. The goal is to build faith, character and endurance.
Soul Strides will run throughout the school year in two sessions—fall and spring. Students in 3rd-5th grade will meet at the church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm.
Our plan is to run a race together as a group on November 21 (Location TBD). In the spring, we'll continue training (and hopefully fundraise) for the World Vision Run in May.
